Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. In today’s world we have to teach ourselves to find beauty wherever it may be. Finding beauty in the mundane, makes life worth living. But to create something beautiful, or find beauty in the mundane? That’s a skill that is wonderful to have, and worth developing, because it will help your outlook of things. If you can make the most ordinary object look interesting, think how much more interesting you can make your life look.
The most beautiful experiences we can have is the mysterious. It is the fundamental emotion which stands at the cradle of true art and true science. Whosoever does not know it and can no longer wonder, no longer marvel, is as good as dead, and his eyes are dimmed. –Albert Einstein.
When you wake up tomorrow and think of how the universe revolves around you and your needs. Take a minute to reflect how insignificant you are. That everything around you will still move on even without you. Morning will be morning – with fields of grass with dew, birds singing in the air and a subtle silence, that just gives a nice vibe. The first rays of the sun giving just enough light for you to realise it is a new day. Just take it all in and admire the sunrise.
You have to find mystery in your day to day life. And not just on our gadgets but in the world around us. Think of how, people in the streets, that you pass on your way to work, have their own stories. That before you ever saw them, they existed, they lived, they thrived. Each of them with a unique story. I think that is beautiful. Think of how a simple joke, posted on social media, resonates with not just you, but is relevant to thousands of people and is able to lift their spirits for that day. That’s just beautiful. Think of art, music and poetry – how the melody is able to pump you up, how the tune causes your ‘speedy’ senses to awaken and how the words are able to just break you.
The is so much beauty in this world you, only when you choose, to explore and be wise, will you find it. WANDER PROFOUNDLY, TRAVEL DEEPLY, SURRENDER WHOLLY OR DON’T GO AT ALL… TAKE THE ROAD LESS TRAVELED. Find the beauty in the simple staff.
